What follows here is a collection of audio files that are a small amount of excerpts from a larger catalogue that we have started only this year after our written accounts were ignored or dismissed. The flags we made during recordings are listed below each file. Some events, such as sudden tiredness, or intense pain might not be flagged because there was no one to mark the recording, and the head pressures and moving brain damage that Veronica experiences does not have any timestamps or flags due to their incessant nature. Likewise not all sounds are flagged, whether it’s repetitive patterns that are suspicious; that they are too loud, etc. They either have a connection to our personal history (such as a basketball being dribbled down a street with no courts, which occurred at a former dwelling as well), or are of unknown provenance, or are both.
-Ben Coyle
This webpage has been created by my fiance Ben Coyle as, the title says, a testament to the invisible. I am Veronica Horton, at the time of writing this, 37 years old. Since early 2018, I have been a target of unknown, malicious actors. I noticed it started online, but within a few months bloomed into my physical-space world. In late 2018, the starting of October, I was harassed badly with what I now know as hypersonic sound, weaponry proudly developed and used by the US military in wartime over a decade ago now. (Versions of this technology is now available for purchase to the general public.) I fled my home. In early in 2019, after I’d moved twice already trying to escape it and other forms of group-coordinated stalking, (and long after changing emails, phones, phone numbers, computers, etc.), I began being physically assaulted. This assault is by something not visible or audible to me, but which my senses of touch experience everyday, incessantly. What I now live with everyday is nothing short of horror. The worst of the experiences I cannot and don’t even capture even with these daily audio logs. Some of the first of the sensory-motor assaults began as an attack inside my skull, causing immediate dizziness, nausea, and deep loss of regular emotions. Within a month of it starting, it is now incessant. Over a year later, with trying to reach out to medical, police, military and human rights groups, with no end in sight of my torture, and after having written extensively since late 2018 about it all, I grudgingly agreed to record our lives, through our own means. This is what this website contains.
It is important that I let any listeners know that it is far from a complete account of everything I experience. I don’t go into much about the physical changes inside my skull, as it is incessant and I tend to only note strong changes. Anything else is to invite only tedium of rambling of my physical sensations. I often miss or don’t bother flagging or mentioning many events; sometimes I am too out of it, sometimes I don’t care at that time, I have actively tried to not notice many of these things now too, perhaps sometimes I have been successful.
We don’t have proper studio recording equipment, just an onboard microphone on a laptop. It picks up ambient sound VERY poorly. This is to our detriment for these purposes, but it is all we have, and both mine and Ben’s patience and ability to live with this has been stretched to our limits.
Lastly, this isn’t a story. This isn’t entertaining. This has a lot of nothing coupled with a lot of very important somethings whose nature is deplorable. It is documentation we chose to make public out of desperation and a need to be believed and a hope that it will help.
I want this technology banned as inhumane.
